Experiment on Gas–Liquid Sulfur Relative Permeability under High-Temperature High-Pressure Sour Gas Reservoir Condition

چکیده
In the development of high temperature sour gas reservoirs, gas–liquid sulfur two phase percolations exist, which have a significant impact on permeability and well productivity. There are currently few reports experimental studies relative permeability. This study improves equipment process, it proposes an method for measuring curve. Several typical core samples from reservoir in Sichuan Basin, China were selected study, under pressure (HTHP) was measured. The results show that, first, critical flowing saturation liquid 40%, co-flow zone narrow. With increase saturation, decreased rapidly. Second, better physical properties core, greater damage to properties. residual fractured higher than matrix as increased, so did Third, had effect Gas rose, while remained essentially constant. Fourth, rock effective stress more sensitive stress.

An Experimental Study on Percolation Characteristics of a Single-Phase Gas in a Low-Permeability Volcanic Reservoir Under High Pressure
In this paper, we find that with the decrease in the average pore pressure in the process of gas production, both the slippage effect and the stress sensitivity effect will gradually increase; the increase in the slippage effect is significant, while the increase in the stress sensitivity effect is not. In this paper, the Kalamay volcanic gas reservoir of the Junggar Basin in China was selected...
متن کاملSPE 149535 New Model to Predict Formation Damage due to Sulfur Deposition in Sour Gas Wells
Elemental sulfur (S8) is often present in considerable amounts in sour gas reservoirs at the reservoir conditions (pressure and temperature). For the isothermal conditions in the reservoir, the reduction in reservoir pressure below a critical value will cause the elemental sulfur to deposit in the formation. Sulfur deposition can cause severe loss in the pore space available for gas, and in tur...
متن کاملCoefficient of Gas-Oil System Under High Temperature and High Pressure
As the technology of enhanced oil recovery by gas injection has already been applied worldwide, the research of the transmit mechanism between injected-gas and oil is important to the optimization of gas injection plan. Diffusion is an important phenomenon during the process of gas injection displacement. Because of diffusion, gas molecules will penetrate into the oil phase, while the oil will ...
متن کاملSe Ling High Pressures under Sour Conditions
Sealing high pressure gases with elastomers is a problem as elastomers are essentially a supercondensed gas. The primary interactions (type of gas, heat, pressure) and secondary interactions (water, inhibitors, etc.) that lead to seal failures are reviewed and discussed. The high pressure raises the gas density, and this causes the gases to have extraordinary solvent power (2,3,4,5). The totall...
